All squashes provide vitamin A and vitamin C, some of the B vitamins, iron and are a good source of riboflavin and dietary fiber. Deep-colored squashes have the most beta carotene. About 100 calories are in one cup of cooked squash.
Harvest in 50-60 days
Grow in seed trays, and plant out in 4-6 weeks. Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed.
Best planted at soil temperatures between 21°C and 35°C.
Space plants: 60-80cm

Squash also called Crookneck, Pattypan, Summer squash. An extensive group, members of the Curcurbita maxima genus. This golden zucchini, is a deep yellow or orange color.
